A exposição que faltava! 

Depois de, em 2011, o Met Museum em New York, nos ter presenteado com uma exposição sobre a obra do grande Alexander McQueen - Savage Beauty [tive o prazer de ver - as criações perfeitas, a excêntricidade do génio, a cenografia do espaço - tudo perfeito], chega agora a vez de Isabella Blow, a excêntrica editora de moda britânica [amiga íntima de McQueen e de Daphne Guiness] que sempre supreendeu com os seus outfits compostos por chapéus surreais e saltos vertiginosos [deixa saudades] ter uma exposição dedicada a si - Fashion Galore! - na Somerset House em Londres. 

A exposição começa amanhã e termina a 2 de Março. Pela personalidade de Isabella, pelo que trouxe ao mundo da moda e pela sua coragem, vale a pena marcar uma viagem a Londres. Em Fevereiro estou lá!

The exhibition that was missing!

In 2011, the Met Museum in New York, presented an exhibition about the work of the great Alexander McQueen - Savage Beauty [I was pleased to see - perfect creations, the eccentricity of genius, the scenography of the space - everything perfect], now comes the turn of Isabella Blow, the eccentric British fashion editor [close friend of McQueen and Daphne Guinness] who ever suprise us with her outfits composed by surreal hats and vertiginous heels [leaves longing] to have an exhibition dedicated to her - Fashion Galore! - at Somerset House in London.

The exhibition starts tomorrow and ends on March, 2nd. Because of Isabella's personality, for what she brought to fashion world and because of their courage, worth schedule a trip to London. In February I'm there!

Para comemorar o 10º aniversário da criação do lenço caveira, a marca Alexander McQueen, numa colaboração especial com o artista inglês Damien Hirst, criou 30 novos lenços com desenhos únicos que resultam da combinação dos elementos fetiche para os dois artistas, numa composição que nos remete para a beleza dos caleidoscópios.

O video de apresentação, da autoria do talentoso fotógrafo Sølve Sundsbø, é de uma simplicidade arrebatadora.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the creation of the skull scarf, Alexander McQueen, in a special collaboration with British artist Damien Hirst, has created 30 new unique designs that result from the combination of the fetish elements of the two artists, a composition that reminds us for the beauty of kaleidoscopes.

The video presentation, created by the talented photographer Sølve Sundsbø, is a simply breathtaking.

Era um passo que já fazia sentido dar. Fui adiando, por desculpas disfarçadas de motivos. Agora, chegou o momento, a inspiração e a coragem.

Vivo no mundo da internet, dos blogs, sou fã, vibro, vivo neste mundo virtual por tudo o que ele me oferece - inspiração, motivação, conhecimento, viagens (?), amizades (algumas virtuais, outras mais reais, outras ainda puramente platónicas, sinto que conheço as pessoas que fazem os blogs mais especiais da blogosfera, principalmente porque elas sabem usar as palavras).

É esse o meu desafio (e também o maior receio) - chegar às pessoas através das minhas palavras e, por vezes, das palavras dos outros que vale sempre a pena relembrar, através das imagens e das músicas, através do meu blog.

Este projecto pessoal é um sonho, é a minha forma de mostrar ao mundo o que me inspira, o que gosto, o que desejo.

Estilo, inspiração, fotografia, moda, design - estas são as premissas para desenvolver este projecto que quero especial.

It was a step that has make sense. I've been putting off, for excuses masquerading as motives. Now, the time , the inspiration and courage has come.

I'm living in the world of internet, blogs, I'm a fan, I live in this virtual world for what it offers me - inspiration, motivation, knowledge, travel (?) , friendships (some virtual, some more real, others are purely platonic, I feel that I know the people who make the most special blogs in the blogosphere, mainly because they know how to use the words).

This is my challenge (and also my biggest fear) - reaching people through my words and sometimes through the words of others that it is always worth remembering, through images and songs, through my blog.

This personal project is a dream, is my way to show the world what inspires me, what I like, what I want.

Style, inspiration, photography, fashion, design - these are the premises for develop this project, that I want to be special.
