Este sábado foi dia de mais um evento - o Coolares Market by Stylista.

Estava muito curiosa para ir ao Coolares Market, parecia-me um conceito interessante: aproveitar uma quinta linda, num sítio espectacular para criar um lugar cativante e agradável, muito chill.

O Coolares Market tem vários temas, cada dia de mercado é diferente. 

Este sábado a Maria Guedes [do blog Stylista] criou um mercado [de Natal] com algumas marcas novas, em expansão, marcas de pessoas empreendedoras, com muito talento e bom gosto. 

Estavam lá marcas como a HLC Jewellery [que adoro - tenho vários anéis e fios - são lindos], a Change [a apresentar a nova colecção em colaboração com a Nude - calções lindos de morrer], a Rosa com Canela [blocos e agendas com padrões muito giros].

E depois, cá fora, no pátio, estava a maravilhosa van do Santini - amorosa, com as tradicionais riscas vermelhas e brancas que nos avisam que os melhores gelados do mundo estão por perto. Mesmo com dor de garganta foi impossível resistir a um gelado de morango e nata - simplesmente divinal. 

O dia estava óptimo, um pouco frio mas com um sol maravilhoso. Todo o espaço estava muito giro, tinha pormenores interessantes [gostei especialmente do pormenor da fogueira no exterior, criava um ambiente acolhedor] tornando-se muito agradável. É um sitio onde apetece estar. 

Parabéns à Maria Guedes pelas ideias giras e pelo toque especial que coloca em tudo o que faz.

Last Saturday was another event's day - Coolares Market by Stylista.

I was very curious about Coolares Market, it seemed an interesting concept: use a beautiful villa, in a great place, to create a very attractive and enjoyable place to chill.

The Coolares Market has several themes, each market day is different.

Last Saturday, Maria Guedes [from Stylista's blog] created a [Christmas] market with some new brands from enterprising and talented people.

There were brands like HLC Jewellery [I love - I have several rings and necklaces - They are beautiful] , Change [to present the new collection in collaboration with Nude - shorts to die for], Rosa com Canela [notebooks and diaries with pretty covers].

Then, outside, in the courtyard was the wonderful Santini's van - sweet, with the traditional red and white stripes that tell us that the best ice cream in the world are close by. Even with sore throat was impossible to resist to a strawberry and cream ice cream - simply divine.

The day was great, a bit cold but with a wonderful sun. All the space was very cute, had interesting details [especially the detail of the bonfire outside, creating a welcoming environment] making it very enjoyable. It's a place where you want to stay.

Congratulations to Maria Guedes for the great ideas and for the special touch that she puts into everything she does.

Desde há muito tempo que uso produtos da Lierac. Principalmente cuidados específicos para o corpo [celulite killers]. Adoro a textura, o aroma e a eficácia dos produtos.

Recebi na semana passada [no evento Blogs in the city] umas amostras de produtos da Lierac para o rosto e corpo, resolvi experimentar os produtos e fiquei apaixonada pelo sérum e pelo creme de rosto da linha Magnificence. São divinais. 

O sérum tem uma textura super fluida, um aroma extraordinário e uma cor irresistível: cor de framboesa: uma cor deliciosa que, claro, desaparece assim que se espalha o sérum. 

O creme de rosto [dia e noite] também é óptimo, o rosto fica muito suave e hidratado. Adorei. 

Já estão na minha wishlist!

Since a long time I use Lierac's products. Mostly specific care for the body [cellulite killers]. I love the texture, the perfume and the efficacy of their products.

Last week I received [at Blogs in the city event] some samples of Lierac's products for face and body, so I decided to try the products and I loved the serum and face moisturizer from the Magnificence line. They are divine.

The serum has a super smooth texture, an extraordinary perfume and an irresistible color: raspberry - a delicious color that, of course, disappears once you spreads the serum.

The face moisturizer [day and night] is also nice, the skin becomes so soft and hydrated. Loved it.

They are already on my wishlist!

O Porto é uma cidade diferente.

Sinto a diferença na sua beleza, nas pessoas, na arquitectura, na luz. É uma cidade mais escura, com uma luz muito diferente da de Lisboa, mais misteriosa talvez.

Neste fim-de-semana andei essencialmente pela zona da ribeira e do Largo de São Domingos onde se realizou o "Blogs in the city" e onde se situa o hotel onde fiquei hospedada - mesmo em frente ao edifício do evento [just perfect].

Apesar do frio que se fazia sentir, o sol brilhou sempre. O tempo passou depressa. As novidades foram muitas. Novos lugares. Novas pessoas.

Adorei o hotel onde ficámos hospedados. Cale Guest House, um nome a fixar. Fica num edificio lindíssimo que foi totalmente recuperado para receber o hotel, mantendo a traça original e alguns elementos marcantes da arquitectura original integrados com [novos] elementos contemporâneos.

Os quartos estão decorados num estilo minimal mas aconchegante, e o nosso quarto dava para um logradouro, no mínimo, pitoresco.

Adorei tudo: o espaço, o ambiente, o staff - muito simpático e acessível, fazendo-nos acreditar que ficámos em casa de um amigo muito atencioso [e com uma casa cheia de estilo].

Gostei muito da experiência, estou habituada a ficar em grandes hotéis nos quais é raro criar empatia com o staff, até por uma questão de política do hotel. O tempo que fiquei à conversa com a Joana deu para perceber a diferença entre estes hotéis mais pequenos, mais acolhedores e os hotéis comuns.

E no meio da nossa conversa, a Joana sugeriu-nos o sítio onde [para ela] se come as melhores francesinhas do Porto - o Restaurante Santiago, na Rua do Coliseu [há dois na mesma rua, com o mesmo nome, um da mãe, outro do filho! - é o que fica mais a cima] - e nós, como não podia deixar de ser, fomos [com]provar que sim, são as melhores francesinhas [obrigada Joana!]. Confirma-se. Se forem ao Porto, não deixem de provar esta iguaria.

E antes de regressarmos à nossa Lisboa ainda fomos presenteados com um maravilhoso pôr-do-sol. 

Gosto sempre de voltar ao Porto.

Oporto is a different city.

I feel the difference in their beauty, people, architecture, light. It's a darker city with a different light from Lisbon, perhaps more mysterious, l guess.

In this weekend I walked by the waterfront area and the Largo de São Domingos where the "Blogs in the city" event held and where the hotel where I was staying is located- in front of the building of the event [just perfect].

Aside from the cold it was felt, the sun always shone. The time passed quickly. The news were many. New places. New people.

Loved the hotel where we were staying. Cale Guest House, a name to fix. Is in a beautiful building that was fully recovered to receive the hotel, maintaining the original design and some striking elements of the original architecture integrated with [new] contemporary elements.

The rooms are decorated in a minimalist but cozy style, and our room opened into a nice patio.

I loved everything: the space, the atmosphere, the staff - very friendly and approachable, making us believe that we were in a very attentive friend's house [full of style].

I enjoyed the experience, I'm used to staying in big hotels where it's rare to empathize with the staff, even as a matter of hotel policy. The time I spend chat with Joana gave to realize the difference between these smaller and cosy hotels and the ordinary hotels.

And, in the middle of our conversation, Joana suggested to us the place where we could eating the best francesinhas in Oporto - Santiago Restaurant in the Coliseum Street [there are two on the same street with the same name, one belongs to the mother, another belongs to the son! - choose what is above] - and we, as might be expected, went taste that, and yes, they are the best francesinhas [thanks Joana!]. It's confirmed. If you go to Oporto, don't forget to taste this delicacy.

And before returning to our Lisbon we were presented with a amazing sunset. 

I always like to return to Oporto.

Gosto de ser surpreendida [pela positiva claro!]

E foi isso mesmo que aconteceu no sábado passado no evento 'Blog in the city' - fui agradavelmente surpreendida pela blogger espanhola Natalia Cabezas do Trendy Taste.

Não sei, talvez por ser uma blogger internacional, mais mediática, estava à espera que a Natalia tivesse uma postura mais distante mas não, ela é super acessível, muito simpática, não teve qualquer pudor em nos mostrar que no início do seu blog também cometeu alguns pequenos "erros" [mostrou-nos posts do início em que as fotos não tinham muita qualidade - estavam em contraluz, os locais escolhidos para fotografar não eram os melhores - mostrou-nos um post com fotos de looks tiradas num parque de estacionamento (!)] enfim, mostrou-nos que no início não é fácil e que vamos aprendendo com o tempo - o importante é sermos originais, verdadeiros e sérios [com o nosso trabalho, não com a vida!]

Apesar de, para mim, a Natalia se ter destacado [talvez tenha sido uma daquelas empatias que não se explicam], todos os bloggers que foram apresentar os seus projectos e os seus percursos no evento [nos dias que eu fui - sexta e sábado] são excepcionais -  todos acrescentaram algo, todos foram simpáticos e bem dispostos, todos souberam cativar a audiência. 

A Isis da It shoes deu-me dicas tão boas para um projecto que vem a caminho - obrigada Isis!

Para além dos bloggers, todos os convidados do workshop de sexta-feira foram também eles excepcionais, saí do evento na sexta à noite, já tarde [embora ainda houvesse assunto para mais...], com muito frio mas com o coração cheio - aquela sensação óptima de quando sentimos que valeu a pena, que aprendemos muito,  a cabeça a mil com todas as ideias e conhecimentos novos, o sentimento de que vai dar muito trabalho mas que vai valer a pena, porque quando fazemos as coisas por paixão, todo o trabalho vale a pena! É um sentimento bom.

Agradeço muito às organizadoras e espero que para o ano haja mais!

The beautiful Natalia Cabezas from Trendy Taste

I like to be surprised [in a positive way, of course!]

And that's exactly what happened last Saturday in 'Blog in the city' event - I was pleasantly surprised by spanish blogger Natalia Cabezas from Trendy Taste. 

I don't know why, maybe because she is an international blogger I was expecting that Natalia had a more distant attitude but no, she was super affordable, very friendly, had no worries about showing us that in the beginning of her blog she also committed  some small "errors" [showed us posts on the photos weren't great quality - were backlit, the locations chosen for shooting weren't the best - showed us a post with pictures of outfits taken in a car parking(!)], showed us that it's not easy at the beginning and we will learning over time - the important thing is to be original, genuine and serious [with our work, not life!]

Although for me Natalia had highlighted [perhaps one of those things that we can't explain - empathy], all bloggers who presented their projects and their pathways in the event [on the days I went - Friday and Saturday] are exceptional - all added something, everyone was friendly and well disposed, everyone knew captivate the audience.

Isis from It shoes gave me such good tips for a project that comes in the way - thank you Isis!

In addition to the bloggers, all friday's workshop guests were also exceptional, I left the event on friday's night, late [although there was still subject for more...] very cold but with my heart filled  - that great feeling when we felt it was worth it, that we had learn a lot, the head full of new ideas and knowledge, the feeling that we will take a lot of work but it will be worth it, because when we do things out of passion all the work worth it! It's a good feeling.

I'm very grateful to the organizers and hope for more next year!
