São peças de uma elegância extrema mas cuidado, ficam melhor a pessoas mais altas e esguias. As menos altas têm, obrigatoriamente, que usar estes casacos com saltos altos tipo stiletto - com salto fino - para dar ao casaco a elegância que ele merece. 

Este look é óptimo para os dias que se aproximam, que já não são muito frios mas em que ainda é preciso um casaco leve e trendy.

I love long trench coats. They give an upgrade to any look.

They are pieces of an extreme elegance but, beware, they are better for taller and slim people. The lower are required to have to wear these coats with stilettos - with thin heel - to give the coat the elegance it deserves.

This look is great for the days to come, which are no longer very cold but which still need a light and trendy coat.

A última edição da Milan Fashion Week foi soberba. A cada desfile a minha reacção era de espanto. Quando parecia que tinha visto a melhor colecção do evento, surgia outra igualmente boa ou até melhor. 

Exceptuando o devaneio da Moschino, foram apresentadas em Milão algumas das melhores colecções para o próximo Outono|Inverno. Claro que ainda falta Paris mas algumas já não saem do meu top de preferidas.

A Gucci roubou-me o coração. Estou apaixonada por cada detalhe desta colecção. Sempre adorei a Gucci, principalmente desde que Frida Giannini assumiu a posição de directora criativa da marca italiana, mas esta colecção, uma interpretação muito própria do movimento dos anos 60, descrita por Frida como a 'boyish romanticism', superou tudo.

The last edition of Milan Fashion Week was superb. At each fashion show my reaction was astonishment. When it seemed that I had seen the best collection of the event, emerged an equally good or even better.

Except Moschino's daydream, were presented in Milan some of the best collections for next Fall|Winter. Of course still lack Paris but some of this collections don't come out of my top favorite.

Gucci stole my heart. I'm in love with every detail of this collection. Always loved the Gucci, especially since Frida Giannini assumed the position of creative director of the Italian brand but this collection, a very own interpretation of the sixties movement, described by Frida as 'boyish romanticism', overcame everything.

Há pessoas que tem mesmo o dom da palavra [e da escrita] e parece que escrevem sempre aquilo que precisamos [e queremos] ouvir.

 

A Sofia é um desses casos, um dos primeiros blogs que descobri e que me cativou desde o primeiro momento. O 'às nove no meu blog' fala sobre as coisas mais importantes da vida da forma mais simples e positiva, directamente para o coração. Gostava tanto de, por vezes, seguir os seus conselhos sem hesitar. Porque, às vezes, sinto que se dirigem a mim na perfeição.

 

E começar o dia com esta ideia, já tantas vezes ouvida [e sonhada], que parece que se esvai assim que voltamos à nossa realidade é muito bom, dá-nos alento para continuar, força para lutar pelos nossos sonhos. Quero [muito] que um dia passe a ser a minha realidade. Sofia is one of those cases, one of the first blogs I discovered and that captivated me since the first moment. The blog 'às nove no meu blog' talks about the most important things in life in a simple and positive way, directly to the heart. Was so fond of, sometimes follow their advice without hesitation. Because, sometimes, I feel they are targeting me perfectly.

And start the day with this idea which so often heard [and dreamed], which it seems that vanishes as soon as we returned to our reality is very nice, gives us encouragement to continue, strength to fight for our dreams. I want so much that someday this is my reality. I want to feel the freedom to control my time, I want to make [more] what I like, I want to move on with all my projects that, for now, follow slowly because I do not have time [?] for them.

A little lack of courage to take this big step. And this courage is everything. Courage is, above all, the most difficult thing.

| is this [fast] fashion?

Jeremy Scott apresentou, na Milan Fashion Week, a sua primeira colecção para a casa Moschino, claramente inspirada em grandes ícones da cultura norte-americana como o McDonalds, os desenhos-animados Sponge Bob e a cerveja Budweiser.

Terá sido uma boa aposta? À primeira vista sim, todo o mundo da moda está a falar deste desfile e até há quem o ache absolutamente genial. 

Eu, pessoalmente, não acho. Questiono mesmo até que ponto isto pode ser considerado moda. Não será demasiado óbvio? Será viável fora da passarela? Para mim, os looks lembram possíveis fardas do McDonalds num tom demasiado chic ou tentativas de criar fatos de carnaval para uma festa mais trendy. 

Qual terá sido a estratégia do criador? Criar polémica ao enfatizar a cultura [dita] consumista dos Estados Unidos [e de todos os países desenvolvidos] ou criar buzz [positivo ou negativo] em torno da colecção? 

O que é certo é que a colecção não passou despercebida, aplica-se a celebre expressão: 'Não me importo que falem bem ou mal [de mim], desde que falem!'.

Jeremy Scott presented at the Milan Fashion Week, his first collection for Moschino clearly inspired by great icons of American culture such as McDonalds, Sponge Bob cartoon and Budweiser beer.

Was it a good bet? At first glance yes, the whole fashion world is talking about this show and even some find it absolutely brilliant.

I personally don't think it have been a good bet. I question if this can be considered fashion. Don't be too obvious? Will be feasible off the runway? For me, the looks looks like possible too chic McDonalds's uniforms or attempts to create carnival costumes for a more trendy party.

What have been the strategy of the designer? Create controversy by emphasizing consumerist culture of USA [and all developed countries] or create [positive or negative] buzz around the collection?

What is certain is that the collection has not gone unnoticed, applies the famous expression: 'I don't care if they speak good or bad [about me], since they speak!'.
