Há dias difíceis, dias em que sentimos um friozinho na barriga, dias em que tomamos decisões, grandes decisões. Há dias em que mudamos a nossa vida.

Hoje foi um desses dias.

Mudar de vida nem sempre é fácil, dá medo, mas quando o entusiasmo pelos nossos projectos é enorme, quando vemos que temos o mundo pela frente, tanta coisa boa para aproveitar e que tudo depende [muito] da nossa força, vamos em frente. Melhor ainda é quando todas as pessoas importantes da nossa vida nos apoiam. 

É nestes dias que o medo dá lugar a uma enorme força de vontade e perseverança. É tão bom ter a liberdade de transformar as nossas ideias em projectos e seguir em frente.

É bom ter tempo. É bom viver o nosso tempo e sentir que somos livres. Livres para seguir os nossos sonhos. Livres para construir a nossa vida.

A partir de agora vou fazer o que gosto e o sorriso do rosto já ninguém me tira.

É mais fácil dizer do que fazer, mas quando se faz é sensação é divinal. Um conselho: Façam o que gostam. Sempre.

There are hard days, days when we feel butterflies in our stomach, days when we make decisions, big decisions. There are days that change our lives.

Today was one of those days.

Change life isn't always easy, it's scary but when the enthusiasm for our projects is huge, when we see that we have the world ahead, so much good stuff to enjoy and it all depends of our strength, we go on. And is wonderful when all the important people in our life support us.

It's these days that fear gives way to a strong will and perseverance. It's so nice to have the freedom to turn our ideas into projects and move on.

It's good to have time. It's good to live our time and feel that we are free. Free to follow our dreams. Free to build our life.

From now on I'll do what I love and the smile on my face nobody can take me.

It's easier said than done, but when it does the feeling is divine. A word of advice: Do what you love. Always.

A Primavera começou hoje? Parecia mesmo. Este Inverno não foi fácil, chegava a parecer que estávamos num país algures no Norte da Europa, sempre cinzento, chuvoso e ventoso. O sol faz parte de nós e faz-nos muita falta.

O sol faz maravilhas, abrir a janela e quase não conseguir abrir os olhos com a luz que o sol emana é a melhor forma de começar o dia. A energia quente vinda desta estrela maior é um elixir, num dia de sol tudo corre bem. E estes primeiros dias de sol que anunciam que a chegada da Primavera está para breve são deliciosos.

A partir de agora é sempre a melhorar rumo aos longos e quentes dias de Verão. O sol brilha mais vezes, as esplanadas exercem uma força gravitacional que nos prende à boa fotossintese que nelas se faz, o final de tarde pede um petisco a meio de uma semana de trabalho [na Praia Grande, com vista para o mar que nos faz acreditar que estamos de férias], a roupa diminui e torna-se mais alegre, mais leve, tudo fica com um brilho mais especial. Ah! E a Conchanata reabre [já a fui testar no Domingo e continua divinal].

Gosto do poder especial que o sol tem. Aquece-nos o corpo e a alma. Faz bem a tudo. Faz bem a todos. Gosto muito de ti, sol.

Aproveitem ao máximo estes primeiros dias de sol porque eles são especiais. 

[Dizem que ele se vai embora outra vez, mas não quero saber, quero é aproveitá-lo enquanto ele cá está e ignorar que se pode esconder de nós outra vez.]

Spring started today? Seemed. This winter wasn't easy, came to look like we were in a country somewhere in Northern Europe, always gray, rainy and windy. The sun is part of us and makes us really miss.

 

The sun does wonders, open the window and almost be unable to open our eyes because of the light that emanates from the sun is the best way to start the day. The heat energy coming from this star is an elixir, in a sunny day everything goes well. And these early days of sunshine that herald that the arrival of spring is coming soon are delicious.

 

From now on is always to straight towards the long, hot days of summer. The sun shines more often, terraces exert a gravitational force that holds us to the good photosynthesis, the end of the day asks for a snack in the middle of a week of work [in Praia Grande, overlooking the sea which makes us believe that we are in holiday], clothes decreases and becomes more joyful and lighter, everything gets a special glow. Ah! And Conchanata [icecream] reopens [already tested it last Sunday and I still great].

 

I like the special power that the sun has. Heat us the body and the soul. Is good for all. Is good for everyone. I love you, sun.

 

Take full advantage of these first sunny days because they are special.

Adoro este look da cabeça aos tornozelos. Sim, tornozelos, não gosto dos sapatos, acho que não favorecem o conjunto. Este look pede algo mais feminino, como estas sandálias lindas [que aliás já fazem parte da minha wishlist].

 

De resto, adoro-o. Embora seja um look preto total, não é pesado. Os tecidos são fluidos, o casaco é leve.

 

Para quem, como eu, adora preto e não consegue fugir dele, este é um look perfeito para os primeiros dias de Primavera.

I love this look from head to ankles. Yes, ankles, I don't like the shoes, I think they don't help the look. This look calls for something more feminine, like these beautiful sandals [which in fact are already in my wishlist].

Moreover, I love it. Although it is a total black look, is not heavy. The fabrics are fluid, the jacket is lightweight.

 

For those, like me, loves black and cannot escape from it, this is a perfect look for the first days of spring.

O poder do sol é surpreendente. É bom sair de casa nos primeiros dias de sol depois do Inverno. As pessoas estão mais felizes, mais sorridentes. Respira-se boa disposição. É o primeiro sinal de que os dias quentes estão a chegar.

As noites, no Algarve, já cheiram a Verão. E é tão bom.

| a tribute to McQueen.

Existe algo mais perfeito do que entrar no universo McQueen ao som de Björk? Foi assim o desfile de apresentação da nova colecção Outono|Inverno 2014 na Paris Fashion Week.

O desfile foi um verdadeiro espectáculo de som, cenário e imaginação. Assim que o desfile começa entramos num imaginário surreal, repleto de criaturas fantásticas, que mistura o inocente e o grotesco numa simbiose perfeita. Looks construídos, contraste preto & branco a marcar toda a colecção, detalhes femininos, transparências e volumes. Absolutamente divinal. Absolutamente McQueen.

Alexander McQueen foi, para mim, o maior génio do mundo da moda. A sua mente surreal, em conjunto com o seu génio perturbado, deram origem a verdadeiras obras de arte. É impossivel ficar indiferente às criações de McQueen. São exuberantes e únicas, por vezes bizarras, mas sempre belas.

Nunca mais vamos ver a genialidade de McQueen mas é bom saber que alguém [Sarah Burton] está a dar continuidade ao seu legado, à sua visão e à sua estética.

Is there anything more perfect than enter the McQueen world at the sound of Björk? Thus was presentation's show of the new collection Fall | Winter 2014 at Paris Fashion Week.

The show was a true spectacle of sound, scenery and imagination. Once the parade begins we enter in a surreal imagery, full of fantastic creatures, which mixes the innocent and the grotesque in a perfect symbiosis. Bold looks, contrast black & white as the mark of the entire collection, feminine details, transparencies and volumes. Absolutely divine. Absolutely McQueen.

Alexander McQueen was, for me, the greatest genius in the world of fashion. His surreal mind, together with his troubled genius, gave rise to true works of art. It is impossible to remain indifferent to the creations of McQueen. They are lush and unique, sometimes bizarre, but always beautiful.

We will never see again his genius but it's nice to know that someone [Sarah Burton] is continuing his legacy, his vision and his aesthetic.
