Há dias inspiradores e quarta-feira foi um desses dias. Estive presente no 1º dia do Lisboa Design Show e na inauguração da Casa Ideal 2014.
Ver que o empreendedorismo em Portugal está a crescer e que, cada vez mais, os designers portugueses estão a apostar nas suas marcas em nome próprio, criando objectos bastante interessantes quer a nível conceptual, quer a nível de produção, com o recurso a materiais da nossa história.

Lisboa Design Show é um evento dedicado ao design em todas as suas formas de expressão. Desde o design de produto até ao design de moda e interiores, o evento reúne inovação e criatividade e dá a oportunidade às marcas para apresentarem o seu trabalho tanto a profissionais da área, como ao público em geral.
Para além da zona de exposição, tive também a oportunidade de assistir a vários desfiles de moda de talentos emergentes e à conferência PIN - Associação Portuguesa de Joalharia Contemporânea que contou com a presença e testemunho de vários talentos nacionais como Olga Noronha e Valentim Quaresma. Adoro o seu trabalho de excelência.
É um evento a não perder, uma forma de se inspirarem e de conhecerem novos talentos e produtos. Até dia 12 de Outubro na FIL, Parque das Nações. Aproveitem o fim-de-semana!

There are inspiring days and last wednesday was one of those days. I attended the 1st day of the Lisbon Design Show and the opening of the 2014 Ideal Home.
View that entrepreneurship in Portugal is growing and, more and more, portuguese designers are investing heavily in their brands, creating quite interesting objects both in conceptual level and in terms of production, with the use of materials of our portuguese history.
Lisbon Design Show is an event dedicated to design in all its forms of expression. From product design to the fashion and interior design, the event brings together innovation and creativity and gives the opportunity for brands to present their work both professionals,and the public in general.
Apart from exposure, I also had the opportunity to attend to several fashion shows of emerging talents and to the conference PIN - Portuguese Association for Contemporary Jewellery which included the presence and testimony of several national talents such as Olga Noronha and Valentim Quaresma. I love their work of excellence.
