Winter is coming and overcoats are essential to keep us away from cold.

These coats are great for creating interesting, stylish and trendy winter looks.

This season, we can [and should] use winter coats every day, for many different situations - working, walking, evenings out - and with all kinds of style - chic, cozy, sophisticated.

In order to use and abuse of coats, we must invest in various colors, styles and lengths. It's one of the pieces where it's worth investing in both good materials and a good cut.

The 5 coats that I find essential are one black, one white, one gray, a beige/camel and one of fake fur. To these essential, I add the deep blue and olive green, winter colors that are perfect for overcoats.

All these coats combine perfectly with the winter base colors - black, white, gray, nudes, denim - and, depending on the cut, work both with boots [with heels, without heels, ankle boots] as with stilettos and sneakers.

With a basic wardrobe, mainly black and white, the blogger proves that it's possible to be creative and versatile with a minimalist wardrobe. The secret is in the conjugations and the details she adds to each look.

Building a minimalist wardrobe. Blazers.

Os blazers são uma peça intemporal e façam parte da base do meu [ideal] wardrobe minimalista. 

São ótimos para o Outono, para os dias menos frios de Inverno [ou para usar debaixo de um sobretudo - layering] e para a Primavera. Bastante versáteis, são ideais para looks citadinos [de trabalho ou de lazer], para saídas à noite e até para outfits mais descontraídos de férias ou finais de semana.

É essencial ter um blazer preto, um branco e um cinza. Nude e azul profundo também são opções a considerar. 

Em termos de corte, o ideal é variar e ter, pelo menos, um blazer mais cintado, um mais comprido, um com lapela e outro sem.

Blazers are a timeless piece and part of the foundation of my [ideal] minimalist wardrobe.

They are great for fall, for the less cold winter days [or for use under an overcoat - layering] and for spring too. Very versatile, they are ideal for city looks [work or leisure] for nights out and even for more relaxed outfits for holidays or weekends.

It's essential to have a black, a white and a gray blazer. Nude and deep blue are also options to consider. 

In terms of cutting, the ideal, is to vary and have at least one belted blazer, one long, one with lapel and one without it.

Mango's Fall|Winter collection is full of this crucial piece - has blazers for all tastes and styles.

The white one [1] is really my favorite - the cut and color. The lack of a white blazer is one of the major flaws of my closet right now.

Personal Style. Summer Feeling.

Estes dias de Outono estão maravilhosos. O Verão fora de época é ideal para recarregarmos energias para o Inverno que aí vem.

A energia boa que vem deste sol e dos mergulhos, no mar, do último fim-de-semana é um verdadeiro boost, senti mesmo o corpo a recarregar. A calma e a tranquilidade que se sente na praia, nestes meses de areais desertos, é algo de inexplicável e, desta vez, consegui colocar em prática a meditação fora de casa. 

Tanto na areia, como a fazer SUP no rio [no mar não há espaço para meditação!] tive a oportunidade de meditar e de praticar o mindfulness, aproveitar somente o momento: sentir o calor do sol na pele, o som das ondas, o silêncio do rio.

E é também assim este outfit - a base em preto total com apontamentos de cor nos acessórios - mala e anéis. Uma cor de Outono [!] com um toque de Verão nos acessórios.

These autumn days are wonderful. Summer off-season is ideal to reload energy for the winter that is coming.

The good energy that comes from this sun and the dives in the sea, of the last weekend is a real boost, I even felt the body recharge. The calm and tranquility that we feel on the beach, in these months of empty beaches, is something inexplicable and this time I got to practice meditation outside the home. 

Both in the sand, as doing SUP in the river [in the sea there is no space for meditation !] I had the opportunity to meditate and to practice mindfulness, only enjoying the moment: feel the warmth of the sun on the skin, the sound of waves the silence of the river.

And it's also so this outfit - the total black base with touches of color in accessories - handbag and rings. A Fall color with a touch of summer accessories.

Building a minimalist wardrobe. Deep Blue.

Para além dos básicos: preto, branco, nudes e cinzas, outra cor que considero essencial na construção de um wardrobe minimalista é o azul escuro. 

É uma cor que não tem muitos aliados, talvez por, durante muitos anos, ser considerada uma cor para pessoas mais velhas, a cor preferidas das nossas avós.

No entanto, a percepção do azul escuro está a mudar [tal como aconteceu com o cinzento] e, definitivamente, é uma cor a ter em conta esta estação e que acredito que se vá manter também nas próximas estações frias.

Ideal principalmente para o Inverno, é uma cor forte, marcante, que fica bem a peles claras [tão típicas das estações pós-férias!] e que se torna bastante elegante e sofisticada quando conjugada com preto ou tons de cinza.

In addition to the basic: black, white, nudes and grays, another color that I consider essential in building a minimalist wardrobe is deep blue.

It's a color that doesn't have many allies, perhaps because for many years, it be considered a color for older people, the favorite color of our grandmothers.

However, the perception of deep blue is changing [like what happened with grey] and it's definitely a color to take into account this season and I believe in the coming cold season also.

Ideal especially for winter, it's a strong color, striking, which is very good to light skin [so typical of post-holiday seasons!] and that becomes quite elegant and sophisticated when combined with black or gray shades.
